Le Regaste

Le Regaste dell'Adige is the riverbank where Verona does sport, walks dogs, cycles, takes children. It's in no guide. It has the view of the other bank with the cypresses of Castel San Pietro. In the early morning light there are runners. In the late afternoon families. At sunset kids with headphones. It's the Verona that didn't expect tourists — but welcomes them anyway, if they come without expectations and with comfortable shoes.
